I tolerate low light but will grow faster and maintain my vibrant coloring and markings if grown in medium to bright indirect light. Direct sun will scorch my leaves!

 I like consistently moist soil.  Water me less in the winter. 

I prefer rich well draining and loose soil.  Start with good quality potting mix and add equal parts perlite and peat moss.

Fertilizing isn't necessary, but if you'd like to, use a houseplant fertilizer in spring and summer following the directions on the product's packaging.  

 This climbing vine contains insoluble oxalate crystals similar to other plants in the Araceae family. Chewing or biting into this plant will release these crystals causing oral tissue irritation.

 Syngonium plants are not just decorative, they have the ability to cleanse the air you, breathe and act as anti-pollutants. These plants can reduce components of indoor air pollution, even volatile organic compounds such as benzene, formaldehyde, toluene, and xylene. They also reduce airborne microbes and increase humidity.
